The Academy is dedicated in providing high quality Learn to Ski, Learn to Race and International Competitive Race programs for for students of all ages with a variety of disabilities in Adaptive Alpine Skiing.
Disabilities include; amputee; cerebral palsy; cognitive delay; down syndrome; hearing impaired; visually impaired; spinal cord injury and all others.
Our Nationally & Internationally Certified instructors and Coaches with their students to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy skiing or racing as a part of an active and healthy lifestyle.
Rocky Mountain Academy uses a holistic approach in developing ski racers in their conquest of becoming a Paralympian. Our approach includes first developing the skier, then developing the racer, and then developing an athlete. This process takes time and commitment from the participant and it is very important to develop each stage in sequence to evolve the required building blocks for the future. Over 90% of our Competitive Program Athletes end up competing for their National Teams.

An added bonus is that we are the only race facility in the world that has a dedicated slope with full safety and 4 levels of FIS homologation (DH, SG, GS, SL).
